Delivery Information
All our solar door signs are custom-made to order in our workshop in Rochdale, Greater Manchester. Because every sign is personalised with your house number and/or street name, please allow time for manufacturing before dispatch.
Manufacturing Time
Please allow up to 5 working days for your sign to be manufactured. We’ll send you an email confirmation when your order has been received and another when it’s on its way.
Shipping Method
All orders are shipped via Royal Mail within the United Kingdom. We currently deliver to UK addresses only.
Shipping Cost
We offer FREE delivery on all orders to UK addresses.
Estimated Delivery
Once dispatched, Royal Mail typically delivers within 2–3 working days. Combined with our manufacturing time, you can expect to receive your order within approximately 7–8 working days from placing your order.
Please note that delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Occasionally delays may occur due to Royal Mail or circumstances beyond our control, particularly during busy periods such as Christmas.
What Happens When Your Order Arrives
If no one is available to accept your delivery, Royal Mail will leave a card with instructions for redelivery or collection from your local delivery office.
If your order is returned to us as undelivered, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. Additional delivery charges may apply in this case.
Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at orders@lakewayworkshop.co.uk with your order number and photographs of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or refund.
